Riley the Android

This is a looping animation that I produced in my spare time and is partly inspired by the Synthwave/Chillwave/Vapourwave/Lowfi Hip-hop mix videos that can be found on Youtube and are usually accompanied by a simple looping animation video. The character in this video is an android called Riley, and android who leads the fight for self-determination for androids in the near future at a time when automation has taken hold, but society is on the brink of collapse. I initially came up with this character for a comic project that is still in the early stages and is intended to explore the concept of automation and where it could take us.
