Siren Head

In October 2020, as part of the Inktober challenge on Instagram, I committed to producing one finished piece of artwork every single day for that month. Each day had a different prompt word, which would form the basis for the drawing I would do. Each piece of art I produced during the course of Inktober used different artistic styles and different media, traditional or digital, 2D or 3D. The prompt word for day 3 was ' Siren Head'. Siren Head is a character who I believe originates from one of these creepypasta stories online and can camouflage or imitate sounds like voices or white noise to lure it's prey. For this piece, I drew the character and then created an animated piece of art, using After Effects, complete with visual and audio effects to make it more eerie.
